We created The Black Magic Group with a single vision in mind – to fill the gap in the market for deck hardware and components designed and built specifically to superyacht standards.
While there were many good, functional products already on the market, no one was creating hardware to the aesthetic and design standards demanded by superyachts. Deck hardware and components are often in high-visibility areas, and must look as if they belong on a superyacht as well as simply function reliably.
With this in mind, every Black Magic Group product is built around our philosophy of 'functional beauty'.
We set ourselves the highest standards in all aspects of design and production, and
meet these standards by:
- using state-of-the-art construction methods and materials, often sourcing our materials from the aerospace industry rather automatically choosing traditional ship products
- using cutting-edge computer design and finite analysis software to prefect our designs before construction
- and employing creative and skilled craftspeople with proven backgrounds in the industry to bring our designs to life.
Perhaps most importantly, we know and live in the market in which our products are used. Most deck hardware manufacturers are simply not familiar with superyachts and their special demands; that everything needs to be perfect, always. We are.
